The 4 Disciplines of Execution™

Challenge

When it comes to attaining wildly important organizational goals, the role of the manager in the execution process is critical. Yet managers too often are foggy about what the key goals are, and they typically have too many goals to begin with. In contrast, picture an organization where the management is totally focused on the most important priorities and committed to helping their teams achieve the wildly important goals.

Solution

Unlike most traditional business execution training, the purpose of The 4 Disciplines of Execution: Manager Certification is not to develop skills only, but to help managers create actual work plans. The outcome of this work session is to identify the most important goals for each manager and team to pursue, then to create measures and identify the key activities that will predict goal achievement.

Business Execution Workshop
Taught as a two-day, facilitator-led business execution workhop, The 4 Disciplines of Execution: Manager Certification helps to reinforce the critical role of the manager in the execution process. Participants develop a draft of wildly important goals (WIGs), measures, and scoreboards for their teams. They also prepare to sponsor their own Team Work Sessions by drafting a WIG session plan to drive accountability for the measures.

Length of Business Execution Training: Two-day workshop, then time to certify.
